Zoom Workouts: The In Thing During Lockdown
Social distancing certainly sounds really discouraging at this moment of time. Over the past few weeks, the spread of Coronavirus has flipped our world upside down . Suddenly it came to a stand still. ‘Normalcy’ looks like a far fetching thought which we are trying really hard to get back. With local restaurants to shopping malls to gyms shuttering their doors for the time being, our community hangs in the balance of social media and online classes.
With the complete lockdown it’s been really hard to keep up with workouts as social distancing does not permit us going to the gyms or to other workout sessions and It is really important at this point of time to stay fit mentally and physically. So, how are we keeping up with our wellness?
They say where there is will, there is a way. As creative as we can get, no lockdown can put a full stop on our workout sessions. People around the world are connecting through online group sessions to work on themselves.
Gym owners are scrambling to figure out how to keep their members motivated, fit and engaged after gym closures due to Covid-19. Home workouts are great and coming out to be a success but even better are ZOOM workouts, where members can see each other and work out simultaneously and follow each other. ZOOM workouts are the in thing during lockdown.
They are not just fun but refreshing too. You can workout at your own convenience with your choice of place. It can be your balcony, bedroom, or even your guest room. The choice is yours. It is a whole new experience which helps people stay sane.
What exactly is ZOOM?
Zoom is a cloud-based video conferencing service you can use to virtually meet with others – either by video or audio-only or both, all while conducting live chats – and it lets you record those sessions to view later. (via Google)
